Nashville Radio: WTN's Phil Valentine Voted 'Best'

Cumulus Media  announces that talk radio personality Phil Valentine, Host of “The Phil Valentine Show” on SuperTalk WTTN 99.7 FM, has been recognized by readers of Nashville Scene as “Best Conservative” in its Best of Nashville 2018 special issue.

“The Phil Valentine Show” airs weekdays from 3:00pm-7:00pm on SuperTalk 99.7 WTN, and is syndicated nationally by Westwood One. Valentine is also an award-winning filmmaker and bestselling author whose latest book, Barbican: A Sterling McQueen Spy Story, was released earlier this year.

Allison Warren, Vice President/Market Manager, Cumulus Media-Nashville, said: “Every year, the editors of Nashville Scene ask their readers what they love best about Nashville, and it’s no surprise that Phil Valentine is at the top of the list. We agree wholeheartedly that Phil brings his best to SuperTalk 99.7 WTN and our listeners every afternoon. His common sense approach to talk radio cuts through the hype of the day’s news, challenging conventional wisdom on both sides and presenting actionable solutions that people respond to. It’s gratifying that Nashvillians love Phil as much as we do and we congratulate him on this well-deserved honor.”

Valentine said: "As divisive as the political world is today, I'm encouraged and delighted that the readers of Nashville Scene recognize that we strive to bring intelligent conversation to the Nashville airwaves each day."

Bobby Bones took the honors as "Best Radio Personality Or DJ", WRVU FRIENDS AND FAMILY low power Variety,  WXNA-LP for "Best Radio Station".
