Lexington KY Radio: Anthony Longo Named OM For Cumulus Cluster

Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed Active Rock WXZZ 103.3 FM Program Director and Morning Drive Personality, Anthony “Twitch” Longo to the newly created position of Operations Manager for its five-station cluster in Lexington, KY.

Stations also include: Oldies WCYN 102.3 FM, Rhythmic Top20 WLTO 102.5 FM, NashCountry WLXX 92.9 GM N/T WVLK, NashIcon WVLK 101.5 FM.

Longo has been with WXZZ for the past 12 years as Morning Drive Personality, and his show is heard nationwide each morning through Westwood One.

Longo was promoted to WXZZ Program Director in 2011, and has distinguished himself in the market through ratings success and a yearly food drive that he organizes that has raised $1 million for Lexington food banks.

Longo previously hosted a syndicated evening show from Dallas Rock station KEGL, and from there, moved to talk radio in Detroit. His career also includes radio positions in cities including Tampa, Orlando and San Francisco.
