Devoted fans at Lamar Billboards put up this 'board near Exit 50 to send birthday greeting to Phlash Phelps, who hosts morning on SixiusXM's Sixties On 6 Channel.
Phelps reports he's getting digital display this weekend in Kansas City at I-35 and 635, 435 & Truman plus I-35 and 7th St.
In other SiriusXM news. best wishes go out to Sixties on 6 afternoon host Pat. St. John. St. John is laid-up in the hsotpial after experiences a painful fall at home near San Diego. M-C hears Pat will be OK, but is currently in the hospital. Return date is pending.
A NYC radio icon, Pat. St. John announced that he was leaving his weekend gig at WCBS 101.1 FM in March 2015. His final show on April 12, 2015 marking the end to a legendary career in New York City radio.
His daughter posted the following on St. John's Facebook Page:
"Hi Friends and Fans of Pat St John, This is his daughter Tierney and I am posting today on his behalf. Dad fell from a height and is currently being treated for injuries in his spine. We are truly fortunate to be surrounded by our immediate family and feel so grateful for all of your love and continued support as we wait to hear how long he will be off of the air.
He does not currently have access to email or social media, but i will be sure to pass along on your words of encouragement and well wishes as they come.
My dad's passion is to share his love of music with you all, and I am certain that his desire to be back on the air will help expedite his recovery."
