Erik Neubart Joins WWOne Sports Marketing

Westwood One has hired marketing and sales pro Erik Neubart as Senior Director, Sports Marketing & Sales. Neubart will work directly with the company’s agency client partners to create innovative, multi-platform brand integrations and marketing solutions across the Westwood One sports assets—Westwood One Sports live play-by-play and the NBC Sports Radio and CBS Sports Radio 24/7 sports talk formats.

Neubart is based in New York City and reports directly to Julie Boruchov, VP, Sports Sales.

Most recently, Neubart was leading the Citi Consumer Business division at MEC Global. Before that, he spent over a decade at Zenith Media, leading several major brands like Chase, Gucci, and Boston Beer; and at Initiative, where he managed the USAA, Arby's, Burlington, and Serta accounts. He also held sales positions at Mediapassage.com, a digital newspaper planning and buying company; at Verizon Wireless, where he was the Advertising Associate; and at Grey Advertising.

“Erik’s immeasurable marketing and sales experience in the agency space is a huge plus for us,” said Boruchov. “He brings an intricate knowledge of brand marketing to the table, which will help align our sports properties with exciting new partnerships.”
