Detroit Radio: Entercom's Debbie Kenyon Gets Achievement Award

Entercom proudly congratulates Debbie Kenyon, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Detroit, for receipt of the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, the highest honor awarded. Kenyon was recognized by Michigan broadcasting peers for her career achievements.

“Debbie is a relentless leader whose work ethic and breadth of expertise serve as a pillar for our Detroit market,” said Michael Doyle, Regional President and President of Sales Operations, Entercom. “I congratulate her for this distinguished honor and am proud to see her outstanding career achievements recognized through this award.”

“Lifetime Achievement Award recipients are Michigan broadcast pioneers who have dedicated the majority of their professional career to broadcasting in the state of Michigan,” said Karole White, President and Chief Executive Officer, Michigan Association of Broadcasters. “Debbie joins a group of 31 other elite broadcasters who have been recognized with this honor since 1989.”

Kenyon joined Entercom in 1999 as Senior Vice President and Market Manager for the company’s Detroit market. In this role, she oversees the market’s six stations including 104.3 WOMC (WOMC-FM), 97.1 The Ticket (WXYT-FM), 98.7 The Breeze (WDZH-FM), 99.5 WYCD (WYCD-FM), Sports Radio 1270 (WXYT-AM) and WWJ News Radio 950 (WWJ-AM), as well as their digital and social properties and live events business.

Michigan Association of Broadcasters Lifetime Achievement Award recipients have distinguished themselves through a lifetime of service as a top manager or owner through excellence in broadcasting in state, national or international industry leadership, service on the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, National Association of Broadcasters or other industry organizational boards, community involvement and industry innovation.
