FL Radio: John Larson Named PD At Beasley's WRXK, WJPT

Beasley Media Group announces John Larson has been named as the new Program Director of WRXK 96.1 FM & WJPT 106.3 FM and Morning Drive Host from 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. on WJPT in Ft. Myers. He officially began his new programming position on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 and will kick-off his new on-air role on the 8th.

Larson most recently spent the past 15 years serving as the Director of Branding and Programming at WWRM-FM, WXGL-FM and WDUV-FM as well as working as the former Format Leader for Classic Rock/Hits for Cox Media Group. Previously, he spent 15 years programming KDGE-FM and KZPS-FM in Dallas.

“John is a BRILLIANT Programmer,” said Operations Manager Adam Star. “To have him on our team is a game-changer. I am confident that his knowledge and experience will take these two incredible brands to the next level and beyond!”
