Entercom has announced the promotion of Emily West to the permanent role of midday host for WNEW 102.7 FM in New York. West hosts a music show from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., playing the most commercial free music for the workday in New York.
“I’m grateful to see my hard work these last few years pay off and I couldn’t be more excited for this new opportunity,” said West. “Our listeners crave a fresh collection of today’s hottest hits and I look forward to delivering that on a daily basis.”
West joined Entercom in 2017 and has since served as a fill-in on-air personality for NEW 102.7 FM, “Scott Shannon in the Morning with Patty Steele” on sister station WCBS-FM 101.1 (WCBS-FM) and as a traffic reporter for sister station WCBS 880 (WCBS-AM). Prior to joining Entercom, West held various roles for iHeartMedia in Chicago and Atlanta, News 12 Networks in New York and Spectrum News NY1 in New York. She currently serves as a fill-in traffic reporter for WNBC-TV in New York.
