Greenville Radio: Entercom Names Van Der Merwe Cluster DOS

Entercom has announced the promotion of Devon van der Merwe to Director of Sales for Entercom Greenville, effective April 1.

In this role, van der Merwe will oversee sales efforts for 106.3 WORD (WYRD-FM), 93.3 Planet Rocks (WTPT-FM/HD1), 96.3 The Block (WFBC-HD2), B93.7 (WFBC-FM/HD1), Classic Rock 101.1 (WROQ-FM), ESPN Upstate (WORD-AM) and Magic 98.9 (WSPA-FM/HD1). She previously held the role of General Sales Manager for the Greenville market since 2016.

Van der Merwe joined Entercom in 2013 as a sales manager. Prior to joining Entercom, she held the same role at Charter Communications in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. She began her radio career as an account manager for Cox Communications in Greenville, SC.
