Mike McVay Headlines Talk Show Boot Camp Line-Up

Mike McVay is set to lead an all new 'Titans of Talk'* series at the 12th Annual Talk Show Boot Camp 'Virtual Adventure' set for next month. Great talent has long served as the driving force behind radio's most successful stations. And whether it’s local or syndicated, standing out from the rest is ultimately what sets top-7talent, as well as radio stations, apart from each other. In this special forum, panelists will touch on a number of key issues including how they maintained their show's regular level of performance throughout the pandemic, plus, their secrets to long-term success and keys to developing their own style and brand.

Consultant David G. Hall is set to lead the latest addition to Talk Show Boot Camp 12's ever-growing agenda: 'Crossing Over To Talk"* which will track the success of five highly popular talk hosts whose careers were rooted in music radio.  Joining David Hall will be (left to right) Chad Benson, host of the Radio America's syndicated Chad Benson Show - Eric Von Haessler, host of WSB A/F Atlanta's Von Haessler Doctrine - Mark Kaye, who just crossed over from CHR sister station WAPE-FM to talker WOKV-FM Jacksonville - Jaime Markley and David Van Camp, co-hosts on Compass Media's syndicated Markley, Van Camp & Robbins Show. Each of these panelists experienced huge success on music radio, but made the move to and haven't missed a beat.

* The series is titled 'Titans of Talk' in memory of the late Al Peterson, former talk editor of Radio & Records, who, along with Erica Farber, produced its highly acclaimed Talk Radio Seminars. After launching NTS Media Online, he hosted a number of NAB's talk sessions titled 'Titans of Talk. We chose to name this series In his honor. During this session Erica Farber will present a special tribute in his memory.
