Westwood One To Cover The Masters

Westwood One is presenting the 2015 Masters Golf Tournament and will provide hole-by-hole coverage to radio stations nationwide beginning Thursday, April 9, 2015 to Sunday, April 12, 2015. In addition to complete coverage, Westwood One will broadcast hourly updates and a nightly, half-hour preview and recap show, Masters Tonight, starting Wednesday, April 8, 2015.

Westwood One has been the official radio home of the Masters Tournament for 60 years, the longest continuous sports broadcast partnership in network radio history.  Westwood One has reported from the 18th green for a wealth of historic Masters Tournament victories, including six-time champion Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Tiger Woods, Gary Player, Nick Faldo, Phil Mickelson, and many more. In 2015, the tradition continues as defending champion Bubba Watson and the world's best players vie for the coveted Green Jacket.

Bob Papa and Charlie Rymer will anchor live coverage from the Augusta National Golf Club.  Listeners can stream the live action on Masters.com and WestwoodOneSports.com.  It will also be available on mobile devices via the Masters app on iPhone and Android mobile devices.

“Iconic, prestigious, world class—all words that describe the Masters,” said Bruce Gilbert, SVP Sports for Westwood One and Cumulus.  “In our continuing effort to connect sports fans with the most talked about sporting events in America, Westwood One is honored to present exclusive coverage from Augusta.”
