FL Radio: WNDB Producer To Plead On Kiddie Porn Charges

The former executive producer of WNDB 1150 AM radio’s “The Marc Bernier Show” is expected to enter a no contest plea to child porn charges on Wednesday and be sentenced to five years prison and ordered to register as a sex offender.

25-year-old Chand Worob will plead no contest to 15 counts of possession of child porn as part of a plea agreement, said his defense attorney Steven deLaroche.  Worob felt the plea was in his best interest and he wanted to get on with his life, deLaroche said.

The plea and sentencing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Daytona Beach. Worob was released from the Volusia County Branch Jail on $200,000 bail.

Daytona Beach police arrested Worob at the station of on WNDB moments after Marc Bernier’s three-hour talk show ended at 6 p.m. on Jan. 29. Police Chief Mike Chitwood said at the time that none of WNDB’s employees were aware of Worob’s illegal activities outside work.

Worob was fired after his arrest. WNDB owner Paul Stone and general manager Barry Brown said they were shocked by Worob’s arrest.
