A longtime Erie disc jockey is no longer the host of WXBB-FM/Bob 94.7′s morning show.
“Craig Warvel is no longer with WXBB but we truly appreciate all of his contributions during his time with us and wish him well,” said Michael Malpiedi, market president for iHeartMedia.
The 63-year-old Warvel has been broadcasting on Erie radio stations since 1981. He had been the host of “Warvel in the Morning” on WXBB since 2015.
Warvel co-hosted morning shows on WRTS-FM/Star 104 from 1998 to 2015. He previously worked for 17 years at WJET-AM/1400 and WJET-FM/102, where he co-hosted a morning show for years with legendary Erie disc jockey Frank Martin, reports goerie.com.
