Orlando Radio: WRUM Strengthens #1 Ranking

iHeartMedia/Orlando continues it  domination of  the market paced by its Tropical WRUM 100.3 FM.  #1 Rumba spiked 8.0-8.7 (6+ AQH Total Week) in the May PPMs released Wednesday by Nielsen. Rumba continues to capitalize on the loss of a Hispanic competitor when JVC acquired 103.1 FM in December and flipped to Country.

Another iHM station Top40 WXXL 106.7 FM was also up 6.7-7.0 to claim the runner-up spot.  At #3 is CBS Radio's Classic Hits WOCL 105.9 SunnyFM got a warm weather bump 4.9-6.3. Central Florida Educational Foundations non-com WPOX Z88.3 FM is in 4th place 5.1-6.0 and Cox Media Group's AC/Classic Hits WMMO 98.9 FM lost 5.8-5.3 and ranks #5.
