CBS RADIO Country KMLE 107.9 FM morning co-host Steve Kramer has departed the station after two years for a soon-to-be-named opportunity.
His last day with KMLE was November 20. The new opportunity is “a huge opportunity for me.”
Kramer posted on Facebook, "You know those times when life is going great, and then all of a sudden something appears. Maybe it's a job, a move, a person, a situation. Something that is such a big opportunity or change, that while it's not all completely clear of why it came into your life when it did or the way it did, it's a situation where you know you have to jump and let a net appear. I decided to take that jump last week.
Friday was my last show on KMLE. It was not easy to type that.
Those in the KMLE Nation, you guys are absolutely unbelievable. I can't think of any other city that I have lived that has been more welcoming, loving, supportive, and passionate about a radio station. We have done such amazing things together."
#kmle530club I guess word is out, huh? I know I owe you an explanation. Promise you'll get one today! Love you all very much! And thank you
