Ty Bentli Show Fans Send 153K+ Thank-Yous To Service Men, Women
CUMULUS MEDIA’s Westwood One’s internationally syndicated radio program, The Ty Bentli Show, Country’s most energetic and freshest take on morning radio, announces that its third annual “100,000 Thank Yous” campaign bringing together Country music stars and fans of all ages to write letters for deployed military service men and women has collected a grand total of 153,422 thank you notes, far exceeding their goal of 100,000!
The effort, which included Country recording artists Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Justin Moore, Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Old Dominion, Brad Paisley and Mitchell Tenpenny, among others, culminated on Monday, December 9th, with the show’s on-air release of the grand total.
Launched on November 4th, the letter writing campaign was promoted heavily by these Country luminaries and more, who stopped by the Nashville studios of The Ty Bentli Show to write their own letters and talk about the importance of supporting our troops.
With letters still pouring in earlier this week, The Ty Bentli Show staff and volunteers worked until the 11th hour to finalize the official count. These heartfelt notes often included drawings from children, all of which will be included in care packages put together and sent to deployed troops by partner, Operation Gratitude.
Ty Bentli, Host of The Ty Bentli Show, which is heard across the U.S. and internationally, said: “On behalf of everyone at The Ty Bentli Show, we want to thank everyone who took the time to honor the women and men who place their safety on the line in order for us to celebrate with our loved ones during this holiday season and throughout the year. The support from the Country music community - both artists and fans alike - has been unbelievable.”
The Ty Bentli Show features Host Ty Bentli, Country recording artist and on-air personality Chuck Wicks, Tricia Jenkins, and an expanded cast of friends and characters who get real, get wild, and get Country weekday mornings live from the Music City.
