Last week's effort was made through on-air, online and on-site promotions that drove the collection of over 205,000 bottles of water and over 20,000 gallons of water, plus thousands of dollars in cash donations, to benefit Flint residents in need.
Six semi-trucks made their way to Flint to deliverthe water.
Jay Michaels, Program Director, 104.5 WJJK and WRWM 93.9 The Beat, said: “We combined the power of two of the biggest radio brands in the market, with the two biggest TV brands in Indianapolis, to ask our listeners and viewers to help. Our community proved what Hoosier Hospitality is all about!
