Binghamton Radio: Tom Scott to Program Two For CCM+E

Tom Scott
Programmer Tom Scott will be heading north this week on I-81 from Harrisburg as he’s be named new PD for CCM+E’s WMXW Mix 103.3 and WBBI Big 107.5.

Mix 103.3 airs Binghampton’s light favorites and Big plays 70s & 80s Hits.

Meanwhile Northeast Radio Watch is reporting, WBBI has begun telling listeners that the “Big” format will be moving to 96.9. That little translator W221AX Endwell is not yet on the air. It received a Construction Permit in March to relocate from 92.1 to 96.9 with a change in transmitter location and upgrade from 8 watts at 70 meters to 65 watts at 155 meters.

Clear Channel has yet to disclose plans for the 107.5 frequency.

Scott told MC: “I'm looking forward to working with GM Tom Barney and OM Jim Free. Thanks to RVPP Rich Lauber and SVPP Jon Zellner for the opportunity to get back on board.”

Scott's background includes stints as Media Director for Monitcello Media in Charlottesville, Virginia and Operation Manager/Program Director for nine years at CCM+E’s WKSB 102.7 KISS FM (HOT AC), WBYL/WBLJ-FM BILL 95 FM (Country), WVRT/WVRZ-FM Variety 97.7 (CHR) in Williamsport, PA
