During the week of February 10 - 16, FOX News Channel (FNC) continued to grow its total day (+44%) and primetime (+42%) audience year-over-year while MSNBC and CNN saw double-digit declines across the board compared to the prior year. Notably, FNC has seen the top 765 cable news telecasts since Election Day.
In primetime (8-11 PM/ET), FNC soared to 3 million viewers and 373,000 in the 25-54 demo, commanding all of cable with viewers. In total day (6AM-6AM/ET), FNC posted 2 million viewers and 240,000 in the 25-54 demo. FOX News’ daytime program The Story with Martha MacCallum beat ABC’s The View with viewers for the week. The Five was the most-watched show in cable with 4.7 million viewers and also led CBS Evening News for the week which averaged 4.5 million viewers.
For the week, The Five averaged 4.77 million viewers and 514,000 in the 25-54 demo, leading cable news across the board. At 6 PM/ET, Special Report with Bret Baier drew 3.6 million viewers and 404,000 in the 25-54 demo. The Ingraham Angle saw 3.4 million viewers and 415,000 in the 25-54 demo at 7 PM/ET. At 8 PM/ET, Jesse Watters Primetime delivered 4.2 million viewers and 505,000 in the 25-54 demo. At 9 PM/ET, Hannity posted 3.4 million viewers and 453,000 with A25-54. At 11 PM/ET, FOX News @ Night secured 1.9 million viewers and 283,000 in the 25-54 demo.

FNC’s newest program The Will Cain Show continued to drive up the ratings at 4 PM/ET for FOX News commanding 2.9 million viewers and 350,000 in the 25-54 demo. This marked the show’s second highest-rated week since launch.
At 10 PM/ET, FNC’s late-night offering Gutfeld! secured 3.3 million viewers and 460,000 with A25-54. Gutfeld! once again topped the broadcast competition including ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! (1,608,000 P2+; 246,000 A25-54) and NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (1,274,000 P2+; 286,000 A25-54).
FNC continued to see a number of its daytime programs outpace the broadcast competition. Most notably, The Story with Martha MacCallum (weekdays, 3 PM/ET; 2,624,000 P2+) led ABC’s The View (2,565,000 P2+). America Reports (weekdays, 1-3 PM/ET; 2,534,000 P2+), Outnumbered (weekdays, 12-1 PM/ET; 2,481,000 P2+), Harris Faulkner’s The Faulkner Focus (weekdays, 11 AM/ET; 2,390,000 P2+) and America’s Newsroom (weekdays, 9-11 AM/ET; 2,312,000 P2+) all led CBS This Morning (2,070,000 P2+), NBC’s Today Third Hour (1,939,000 P2+) and ABC’s GMA3 (1,474,000 P2+) with viewers.
On Saturday: The Big Weekend Show (weekends, 6-8 PM/ET) was the most-watched show of the day with 1.9 million viewers and 237,000 in the 25-54 demo. Life, Liberty & Levin (Saturday, 8 PM/ET) led in primetime commanding 1.8 million viewers. One Nation with Brian Kilmeade (Saturday, 9 PM/ET) followed with 1.7 million viewers.
On Sunday: Maria Bartiromo’s Sunday Morning Futures was the top show of the weekend with 2.1 million viewers and 226,000 in the 25-54 demo. MediaBuzz (Sunday, 11 AM/ET) followed with 1.7 million viewers and 208,000 in the 25-54 demo. On FOX Network, FOX News Sunday posted 1.3 million viewers which marks the most-watched show since Shannon Bream was named anchor in 2022.

“World News Tonight with David Muir” ranked as the No. 1 evening newscast in all of broadcast and cable in Total Viewers (8.299 million), Adults 25-54 (1.236 million) and Adults 18-49 (871,000) during the week of Feb. 10, 2025, based on Live+Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research.“World News Tonight” beat “NBC Nightly News” (6.742 million, 1.013 million and 677,000, respectively) by 1.557 million Total Viewers, by 223,000 Adults 25-54 and by 194,000 Adults 18-49.
- “World News Tonight” grew its margins over “NBC Nightly News” versus the previous week in Total Viewers (+5% – 1.557 million vs. 1.485 million), Adults 25-54 (+32% – 223,000 vs. 169,000) and Adults 18-49 (+66% – 194,000 vs. 117,000), seeing its largest overall viewer lead in 2 months — since w/o 12/2/24.
- “World News Tonight” widened its lead over “NBC Nightly News” on the year-ago week in Total Viewers (+28% – 1.557 million vs. 1.214 million) and Adults 18-49 (+17% – 194,000 vs. 166,000).
- “World News Tonight” stood as the No. 2 program of the week in Total Viewers (8.299 million) on all of broadcast and cable.
- “World News Tonight” improved on the previous week in Total Viewers (+1%/+105,000 – 8.299 million vs. 8.194 million), Adults 25-54 (+5%/+64,000 – 1.236 million vs. 1.172 million) and Adults 18-49 (+10%/+76,000 – 871,000 vs. 795,000). “World News Tonight” hit 5-week highs in both key Adult demos (since w/o 1/6/25) and posted its 2nd-best numbers of the season. Further, “World News Tonight” stood as the only evening newscast to grow across the board.
- For the second week in a row, “World News Tonight” saw year-to-year gains in Total Viewers (+3%/+273,000 – 8.299 million vs. 8.026 million), Adults 25-54 (+6%/+69,000 – 1.236 million vs. 1.167 million) and Adults 18-49 (+10%/+79,000 – 871,000 vs. 792,000). In addition, “World News Tonight” was the only evening newscast to be up on the year-ago week in all key target demos.
- For the week, “World News Tonight” (8.299 million, 1.236 million and 871,000, respectively) defeated “CBS Evening News” (4.471 million, 634,000 and 430,000, respectively) by 3.828 million Total Viewers, by 602,000 Adults 25-54 and by 441,000 Adults 18-49.
