The Radio Vendor Alliance (RVA) and the Independent Broadcasters Association (IBA) are partnering to present an engaging webinar titled "Is Video the New Audio?" Scheduled for Thursday, February 20 at 1 PM ET, this 45-minute online event is part of a Lunch and Learn series aimed at tackling the changing landscape of the radio industry.
The webinar is open to everyone, regardless of IBA membership, and will feature interactive discussions with industry leaders. Tom Dobrez, President of Cool Radio Streaming, and Gabe Edney of Paragon TV will lead the session, offering insights into blending video streaming with traditional radio formats.
Attendees will learn about key topics such as identifying new revenue opportunities through hyper-local video content, enhancing radio programming with complementary video, and practical strategies for launching a video streaming service efficiently and affordably.
The event will include a live Q&A segment, giving participants the chance to ask tailored questions, and a replay of the session will be available afterward. The webinar’s main goal is to empower radio broadcasters with the skills and tools needed to enter the local video content market, an area many in the industry have yet to explore.
