Esther Mireya Tejeda |
Tejeda will be transitioning off the business in the next several weeks. She is pursuing a “new and different challenge,” she said in an emailed statement.
In an internal memo, Entercom CMO Paul Suchman said the company is conducting a national search for a new head of communications “who can build on our progress and take us to the next level.”
In the interim, Suchman is overseeing the corporate comms team.
Tejeda joined Entercom four years ago to help structure its first strategic communications practice during its $2.4 billion acquisition of CBS Radio in 2017.
“Over the years, we built an award-winning team with some of the brightest talent in the industry and ushered in a new era for Entercom and audio media during this time of innovation and transformation in radio,” Tejeda said. “I am thankful for the opportunity to be part of some of the company’s most exciting milestones in recent years and privileged to have worked with and learned from some of the most exceptional leaders in the industry.”
Suchman wished Tejeda success in her next endeavor and noted the company is “saddened” she is leaving.
