Pittsburgh Radio: Neil Walker To Be Weekly Guest On 93.7 The Fan


Audacy announced former MLB player Neil Walker will join KDKA-FM  93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh as a weekly guest. 

Walker will join “The Fan Morning Show” with Colin Dunlap and Chris Mack every Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. ET, beginning May 10. “The Fan Morning Show” broadcasts weekdays from 5:40 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. ET.

“Neil Walker will forever be beloved in Pittsburgh – the local kid who led the Pirates to the playoffs for the first time in over 20 years…you can’t write a story any better than that,” said Michael Spacciapolli, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Pittsburgh. “We are thrilled to have him join the Fan family to talk Pittsburgh sports and share his stories every Monday.”

“Talking Pittsburgh sports is something I love to do,” said Walker. “I couldn’t be more excited to do that every week on The Fan with the greatest fans in our city.”

Walker was born in Pittsburgh, PA, attended high school at Pine-Richland in Gibsonia, PA and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2004. He made his MLB debut with as a second baseman in 2009 and played in Pittsburgh through 2015. His 12-year MLB career also included time with the New York Mets, Milwaukee Brewers, New York Yankees, Miami Marlins and Philadelphia Phillies. Walker won the Silver Slugger Award in 2015. Walker retired after 12 MLB seasons in April 2021.
