NYC Radio: Aaron Boone, Shane McMahon Talk With Michael Kay


WEPN ESPN 98.7FM New York’s The Michael Kay Show interviewed special guests Shane McMahon, professional wrestler and minority owner of the WWE, and Aaron Boone, former MLB player and current manager of the New York Yankees, Tuesday.

In his 30-minute interview, McMahon mentioned his support towards WWE’s The Miz stating, “The Miz has an undeniable work ethic and is great in the ring.” McMahon mentioned how fans can now relate to Miz even though he is the villain. McMahon also went on to discuss his female colleagues within the industry and how it’s been a “longtime coming.” McMahon discussed his colleague Rhonda Rousey and stated, “The women are creating an enormous storm around themselves in a positive way.”

Aaron Boone later joined The Michael Kay Show and discussed the New York Yankees upcoming season and potential success this year. Boone mentioned, “ we are better this year compared to this same time last year.” Boone also went on to discuss how the ultimate goal is to make it to the championship versus homerun totals.
