A group of approximately 30 demonstrators, outfitted with
fluorescent colored banners, flags, megaphones and slogans organized for the
March Against the Mainstream Media event in Seattle on Saturday.
The event was part of a larger national event which took
place in different locations throughout the country today. Protesters targeted
the headquarters of media giants like Fox News, the BBC and NBC, decrying their
narrow coverage of world affairs.
According to the event's website, the purpose of the march
is to question the credibility of mainstream media outlets.
