Lehigh Valley Radio: Hannah Byron Joins WCTO Morning Show

Cumulus Media announces the launch today of a new morning radio show, “CAT Morning Crew with Sam and Hannah” on WCTO CAT Country 96 in Allentown, PA.

Hannah Byron
Cumulus also announces the addition of a new frequency, 107.1, which will broadcast CAT Country 96 to the Poconos. The new frequency substantially extends the listening area for the country station, making CAT Country 96 the biggest radio station in Eastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey. The frequency previously broadcast the Alternative WWYY 107.1 FM.

Additionally, Fox Sports Lehigh Valley 1230 AM / 1320 AM will add translator 94.7 FM in Allentown. The frequency had been simulcasting 107.1 Spin Radio.

On-air personality Hannah Byrom joins CAT Country 96’s Sam Malone as Co-Host for “CAT Morning Crew with Sam and Hannah”. Byrom joins Cumulus Allentown-Bethlehem from Entercom-New York station WNSH-FM, New York’s Country 94.7, where she was weekend on-air personality. Prior to that, she was Morning Show Co-Host for Beasley Media Group’s WKLB-FM/Country 102.5 in Boston, MA. Byrom has held on-air positions at WPST-FM in Trenton, NJ, and at WPLJ-FM in New York, NY, and was Morning Show Co-Host and Midday Host for Live 95.5 in Portland, OR.

Jerry Padden, Operations Manager, Cumulus Allentown-Bethlehem, said: “This is a very exciting day for all of us! Though Hannah has worked on some great stations across the country, she is a Jersey girl. Sam was born and bred here in the Lehigh Valley, so doing Mornings in their hometowns is a dream come true for both Sam and Hannah. AND, to have CAT Country 96 on 107.1 in the Poconos makes us the biggest station over Eastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey! That’s great news for listeners and advertisers who want to extend their reach.”

Byrom said: I'm so excited to join the station that I grew up listening to and that got me into country music. Getting to wake up the Lehigh Valley and create memories and bonds with the listeners here like I had growing up in Phillipsburg is going to be so special. Let's get it!”
