Jason Goff is joining 312 Sports, bringing one of Chicago’s most recognizable and respected sports voices to the network’s growing lineup of original programming. The announcement was made Tuesday night before fans gathered for 312 Sports’ first anniversary celebration at Double Clutch Brewing in Evanston—just a few miles from where Goff grew up.
Goff will launch a new flagship podcast Jason Goff: Unscripted, covering the sports stories driving the conversation in Chicago and nationally, followed by a twice-weekly national football show with a partner to be announced. Launch dates to be announced in the coming weeks.

“Looking forward to engaging with an audience that has followed me down each path while telling my honest feelings shrouded in humor, sometimes uncomfortable conversation, music, life; and just hanging out talking Chicago sports.” said Goff.
Goff’s arrival reunites him with Bernstein, one of the founding voices of 312 Sports, closing a loop that started with Goff in the producer’s chair more than twenty years ago.
“I’ve known Jason for most of his professional life, from producing Boers & Bernstein to eventually sitting across from me as a partner,” Bernstein said. “He’s one of the smartest, funniest and most original voices in Chicago sports. We’ve always made each other better, and getting the chance to do that again at 312 Sports is going to be a lot of fun. This just makes sense.”
“This is a memorable stretch in sports media, nationally and here at home, and a lot of good people are figuring out what comes next. There’s no joy in that. But it has clarified something: audiences follow people, not call letters,” said John Goforth, General Manager, Gamut Podcast Network. “Jason’s talent, his experience and his roots in this city make him a natural fit for what we’re building. He had his pick of what to do next and he chose to build it here, with us, in the city that made him.”
