Alpha Media Savannah, GA announced Midday Host and Music Director, Mia Amini from WXYY-100.1 FM / Y100 appears in the motion picture “Magic Mike XXL” starring Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello, Adam Rodriguez, Jada Pinkett-Smith and Matt Bomer. Mia was sworn to secrecy as she worked as an extra on the set but since the release, has been able to speak freely about her experience.
Cosmopolitan Magazine author, Patti Greco reached out to Mia about her experience in film and the
interview “5 ‘Magic Mike XXL’ Extras Share Their Wildest Stories from the Set” is out now. The Cosmo team even included Y100 Savannah in the article with Mia’s pic live inside the Y100 studio.
Alpha Media VP of Programming, Phil Becker commented on the announcement, “Many radio operators throw around the word ‘stars’ in reference to their talent, but at Alpha Media we take it literal. Having Mia in Magic Mike XXL proves just that. It also proves that I need to spend more time in the gym.”
