Milwaukee Radio: Bonnie Petrie Joins WTMJ For CoHost AM Drive

E.W. Scripps/Milwaukee has announced the addition of Bonnie Petrie as new morning news co-anchor on N/T WTMJ 620 AM.

Petrie, who had been the afternoon news anchor at Radio One's ill-fated All-News KROI-FM in Houston, will work for a few weeks on WTMJ's afternoon show before formally joining the morning show with Gene Mueller in August, according Tom Langmyer, WTMJ vice president and general manager..

Her first day at the station will be July 13.

Petrie fills the spot vacated by Jodi Becker, who left the station in May to spend more time with family.

Petrie has also anchored at KRLD 1080 AM in Dallas and WGY 810 AM in Albany, N.Y.
