Miami Radio: Cory Roberts Named APD For WEDR-FM

Cox Media Group/Miami has named Cory “Big Mack” Roberts as the new Assistant Director of Branding & Programming for legendary urban radio station, WEDR 99.1 FM / 99 JAMZ.

“Big Mack lives, loves, and breathes radio,” says Jill Strada CMG Miami’s  Director of Branding & Programming.  “He’s an up-and-coming super star with diverse talents and a strong work ethic. I’m thrilled to welcome him to Miami and to the 99 JAMZ family!”

Big Mack got his start in radio at WWPR in New York working under Program Director Cadillac Jack, who later brought Big Mack with him to Boston to start up Rhythm AC radio station, WBQT / HOT 96.9, as the Morning Show Producer / On-Air Talent / Music Assistant.

Big Mack grew up in New Jersey, studied at Hofstra University and has a Sound Engineering degree from the Institute of Audio Research in New York.
