TV Ratings: 25M Viewers Watched Dodgers Beat Blue Jays

Over 25 million viewers watched the Los Angeles Dodgers defeat the Toronto Blue Jays in the World Series, marking the largest audience for a Fall Classic game in nearly a decade.

The decisive Game 7 averaged 25.45 million viewers on Fox, according to Nielsen and Adobe Analytics data cited by the network.

Viewership from Toronto—the Blue Jays' home market—is not captured in Nielsen ratings and thus excluded from these figures.

The Dodgers claimed back-to-back World Series titles with an 11-inning thriller that stretched beyond four hours.

This matchup became the most-watched World Series game since Game 7 in 2017, when the Houston Astros topped the Dodgers before 28 million viewers, per Fox.

Ratings for the 2025 Game 7 rose roughly 10% over the 2019 World Series finale between the Astros and Washington Nationals.

Fox drew an average of more than 2 million viewers across the 2025 regular season, up 9% from 2024.
