Shocker! Shelly Easton OUT At Entercom

Entercom has parted company with Shelly Easton, its Director of Music Programming, as of December 31st.  Easton had been in the position for a little over three years.

“I want to share with you that Shelly Easton is leaving Entercom to pursue other opportunities,” Senior VP/Market Manager David Yadgaroff wrote in an internal staff email.

Easton programmed several stations in Philadelphia over her 11 years in the market. Previously, Easton was Operations manager at Cietdel's Country WCTO and A/C WLEV in Allentown.  In Philadelphia, she programmed at WXTU, WBEB, WOGL and WTDY and was named VP of Music Programming in Philadelphia in 2018. Her first programming experience came at iHearthMedia's Country WRBT in Harrisburg. 

In a social media posting Easton stated:  “I’m so proud of the successes we’ve enjoyed together, including the highest ratings in Philadelphia since 1967 on WBEB during the 2019 Holiday Book.”
