R.I.P.: Tommy Muzzillo, KQXY Beaumont Personality

Tommy Muzzillo
Longtime Golden Triangle radio personality Tommy “Jammer” Muzzillo has died following a battle with Coronavirus. Muzillo was an afternoon DJ on KQXY, commonly known as Q-94, and he passed away on Monday, reports KJAS News.

Word of Muzzillo’s death came from G Frank Ferris, who is an administrator over a club of current and former radio personalities from the Beaumont-Orange-Port Arthur area.

Ferris said of Muzzillo, “As you all know, there are a lot of a******s (expletive) in this business, to me it was always wonderful to find someone that wasn’t. That was Tommy, just the nicest guy out there.”

Ferris summed up Muzzillo by writing “I do believe he was most successful as a family man.”
