NYC Radio: Bethany Kent Named Marketing Director For Emmis

Emmis has promoted Hip Hop WQHT Hot 97 Marketing Director Bethany Kent to Director of Marketing and Events for its New York cluster including Hot 97, Urban AC WBLS and Gospel WLIB-AM.

Kent, a five-year Emmis veteran, has served as Marketing Director since November, 2016. She joined the company in November, 2013 as Hot 97 Promotions Director before moving to the Promotions Director post at Beasley's former WRDW Wired 96.5 in Philadelphia. Earlier in her career, Kent handled promotions at Cumulus Rhythmic CHR WWKX Hot 106 inProvidence.

Kent said, "I'm thrilled to lead the Emmis NY Marketing Department. We have a strong team and are looking to make it even stronger with an ace Promotions Director for the legendary WBLS."
