Philly Radio: WPHT Inks New Long-Term Deal With Temple Owls

CBS Radio/.Philadelphia has announced a new multi-year agreement to continue airing the Temple Owls basketball games on WPHT 1210 AM.

The 2014-15 season will mark the 14th straight year that Temple basketball games have aired on WPHT. Veteran broadcaster Harry Donahue, now in his 13th season at the microphone, will continue to handle the play-by-play duties while Temple Hall of Famer John Baum is in his 18th season providing color analysis.

"We're excited to announce that Temple men's basketball games will continue to be broadcast on 1210 AM WPHT," said Temple University VP/Director of Athletics Kevin Clark. "We have had a great relationship with the CBS Radio station for the past 13 years, and look forward to continuing that partnership."
