Delilah Named MIW Airblazer

Delilah

Delilah, the syndicated Premiere air talent, has been chosen as the recipient of the 2024 MIW Airblazer Award by Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio.

The prestigious award recognizes women who have made significant contributions to broadcasting and their communities since 2015.

Delilah, who celebrated her show’s 35th anniversary in 2021, is not only a Radio Hall of Fame inductee but also a radio station owner, author, and philanthropist. She established the Point Hope foundation in 2004 to support children and mothers in Ghana and the US foster care system.

With an audience of over eight million weekly listeners across 160 radio stations, Delilah is currently the most-listened-to woman on US radio.

She humbly expressed her gratitude upon receiving the award: “I’m honored to be recognized by MIW and MSBC and awarded with the Airblazer Award this year, joining a group of very talented women who’ve also received this award.”

The award will be presented to her at the Morning Show Boot Camp on August 9, held at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego, CA.

In addition to Delilah and Dana, previous MIW Airblazers include Patty Steele (2022), DeDe McGuire (2021), Angela Yee (2020), Kellie Rasberry (2019), Mercedes Martinez (2018), Roula Christie (2017), Angie Martinez (2016), and Ellen K (2015). Register HERE for Morning Show Boot Camp San Diego
