Tom Hanks will host a primetime TV special on January 20th, celebrating the presidential inauguration of Joe Biden, featuring performances by Demi Lovato, Justin Timberlake, Jon Bon Jovi and Ant Clemons—a notable return to star-studded tradition from the Trump administration, when big-name artists often avoided any connection with the president.
The special, entitled "Celebrating America," will reportedly air live at 8:30 p.m. ET on most of the country's major television networks, including ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, and CNN, and will be streamed on social media.
According to Politico, Fox and their cable news network, Fox News, will not broadcast the special.
The 90-minute program will incorporate a combination of pre-taped and live appearances from around the country, with additional acts and big names expected to be announced in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez will lend their voices to President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration next week, performing when he officially becomes the 46th president of the United States, Biden's Presidential Inaugural Committee announced Thursday morning.
Gaga, who appeared on the campaign trail with Biden during the 2020 election and worked with the then-vice president on his "It's on Us" campaign to combat campus sexual assault, will perform the national anthem when Biden is sworn in, the committee announced.
