Syracuse Radio: WNTQ Again Voted Tops In Reader's Poll

Cumulus Media announces that CHR WNTQ 93.1 FM 93Q, Syracuse’s #1 Hit Music Station, has been named Syracuse’s Top Radio Station and 93Q morning personalities, Ted Long and Amy Robbins, have been chosen as Syracuse’s Favorite Radio Personalities in the Syracuse New Times’ annual Best of Syracuse reader poll.

Nominations were accepted from the public from August 2-9, 2017, and voting took place August 23-September 12. The New Times reported that 18,839 votes were cast. 93Q brings in its second consecutive win as Syracuse’s Favorite Radio station, having won in the category for seven of the past 14 years.

Likewise, Ted & Amy continue their winning streak, following last year’s win as Syracuse’s Favorite Radio Personalities. The ever-popular on-air duo has won in the category more than 20 times in the last 25 years.

Cumulus Media-Syracuse received four other nominations for “Best of Syracuse”. Scott Dixon, Afternoon Host, 95X (WAQX) and Dave Frisina, Afternoon Host, 105.9 The Rebel (WXTL) were both finalists for Favorite Radio Personality, while 95X was nominated for Favorite Radio Station, and 95X Locals Only Fest competed in the Favorite Local Music Festival category.

Amy Robbins said: “Ted and I are so thankful for the support of our listeners and advertisers, and for the entire staff at Cumulus Syracuse!”
