Seattle’s fresh country station will debut its new show and host starting the week of October 2, 2017 from 6:00am to 10:00am PST.
McAllister moved to the Pacific Northwest to join 100.7 The Wolf from KNIX-FM in Phoenix, where he spent a decade on-air in the mornings. He is the proud recipient of the Personality of the Year awards from both the Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association in 2010 and 2015 respectively.
He left KNIX on Dec. 21, 2016.
“Matt is creative, innovative, competitive, and laser-focused on bringing audiences compelling content for their morning commute. We are excited to welcome him to our team in Seattle, leading the next chapter of mornings for 100.7 The Wolf,” said Drew Bland, Program Director at KKWF 100.7 The Wolf.

Joe Wallace, a longtime producer for the then-called "Ben and Matt Show" on 102.5 KNIX, will also make the move to Seattle to produce the new show, McAllister said.
The news comes nine months after McAllister and Wallace were abruptly let go from the station.
The new show hosted by Matt McAllister replaces the current morning show with Ellen Tailor and will include a new cast. Both the new name and cast will be announced at a later date.
