SiriusXM has announced the launch of "Cuomo Mornings," a new live weekday morning show hosted by veteran journalist Chris Cuomo, debuting January 20, 2026. The program airs 7-9 a.m. ET on the company's bipartisan P.O.T.U.S. (Politics of the United States) channel 124, where it will lead off the channel's daily programming and serve as a platform for cross-ideological discussion during the key morning drive time slot.
The show emphasizes moving beyond partisan "teams" to prioritize truth, common sense, accountability, and practical solutions. It will feature Cuomo's direct style of questioning in conversations about pressing political, cultural, and social issues. The live format includes interviews with prominent newsmakers from across the political spectrum, plus real-time engagement with listeners who hold diverse viewpoints, fostering debate without descending into division.
Among the expected early guests are a mix of high-profile figures spanning ideologies and fields: Democratic strategist James Carville, sportscaster Bob Costas, entrepreneur Mark Cuban, former Sen. Joe Manchin (I-WV), Maryland Gov. Wes Moore (D), and Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY).
Cuomo described the program's mission in his own words: "Too much of our politics is about teams instead of truth. ‘Cuomo Mornings’ is going to be about breaking through those barriers, asking better questions, and bringing people into the conversation instead of talking past them. We need to prioritize common sense, accountability, and real dialogue, and SiriusXM’s P.O.T.U.S. channel is exactly where that belongs. I’m very excited to be back on the platform and to engage with callers every day. Let’s get after it."
Cuomo, who has more than two decades of experience covering politics, major breaking news, and global events, currently anchors the weeknight program Cuomo on NewsNation at 8 p.m. ET, a role he has held since 2022 following a multi-year contract extension in 2024.
His previous SiriusXM show was Let’s Get After It with Chris Cuomo, which he hosted earlier in his career but stepped away from in 2021 after his departure from CNN.
