Madison Radio: Jesse Garon Gets Mornings at WOLX

Audacy names Jesse Garon as new morning show host for 94.9 WOLX (WOLX-FM) in Madison. “Get Up with Garon” will be heard weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. CT.

Garon succeeds Jim McGaw, who passed away in May.

“Jim was a close friend of mine and I hope to be a friend to our great audience just like Jim was for so many years,” said Garon. “WOLX has been my favorite radio station for years and, as a child of the 80s & 90s, a lot of the music we play connects with me on a personal level. I'm excited to get the day started for so many people.”

Garon has been with 94.9 WOLX since 2015, previously serving as evening host.
