In our Nation's Capital, winter weather
or not WTOP 103.5 FM is usually #1 (6+ AQH) and February was no
different. The Hubbard Newser, which recently parted ways with PD
Laurie Cantillo, enjoyed an uptick 9.2—9.3 to again reach the radio
summit.
WTOP has a nice lead over Non-Com rival
WAMU 88.5 FM. The Amiercan University N/T is in second place,
dropping 7.9—7.5. Howard University-owned UrbanAC WHUR 96.3 FM
jumped 6.0—6.9 for place third. And iHeartMedia stations round
out the Top 5. Top40 WIHT 99.5 FM HotFM was up 5.2—5.8, good for
the #4 spot. Number 5 belongs to AC WASH 97.1 FM, which wobbled
5.5—5.4,
The move of the month belongs to
Christian Contemporary WGTS 91.9 FM. The non-com Contempoprary
Christian jumped from tenth place to #5 18-34.
