NOLA Radio: Cumulus Names Ray Mariner PD For WRKN, WMTI

Cumulus Media has announced the appointment of radio programmer and personality, Ray Mariner, as Program Director of Country-formatted WRKN 92.3 FM NASH FM and WMTI 106.1 FM The Ticket in New Orleans.

Most recently, Mariner was a Sports/Talk talent on 680/The Fan in Atlanta and prior to that, was the morning and afternoon drive personality for Star 94 in Atlanta. Mariner formerly served in a programming capacity in Charlotte and Myrtle Beach.

He steps into this newly created position on April 15.

Mike McVay, Senior Vice President, Programming said, "Ray is a rare breed of Programmer and Talent. He has shown his programming acumen by performing and succeeding at the highest level. We're excited to have him oversee the programming of both NASH-FM 92.3 and 106.1 The Ticket in New Orleans."
