Howard Stern Has Letterman Replacement Suggestion

Greg Gutfeld
Howard Stern, the self-described “king of all media,” reportedly said Monday that the very funny Greg Gutfeld would be a good choice for David Letterman’s replacement on “The Late Show.” Letterman recently announced he plans to retire in 2015, according to TheBlaze.

Gutfeld is an outspoken conservative, comedian and currently a co-host on “The Five.” Certainly the prospect of an openly conservative late night host will not sit well with many on the left.

“I feel there’s too many of those shows…there’s a lot of guys who could take over that show… I like this guy on Fox News… Greg Gutfeld,” Stern said Monday. “He’s a conservative, but I like him.”

Stern is one of the names being discussed by media speculators as a possible replacement for Letterman. However, he has shown little interest in the gig.

Stern’s endorsement shouldn’t come as that big of a shock as the personality recently praised Gutfeld as “very funny” and revealed “The Five” is his favorite show on TV.

“I love it,” Stern said of “The Five” in January. “Greg [Gutfeld] is very funny. He’s a pretty conservative guy, but that doesn’t bother me because he’s very funny.”
