LI Radio: Jon Daniels Named New PD At K98.3 FM

Connoisseur Media/Long Island has announced a change in Programming Department as Afternoon personality Jon Daniels is named as PD/Brand Manager at Hot AC WKJY 98.3 FM K98.3 in Hempstead, Long Island.

He succeeds Steve Harper who will focus entirely on the morning show with Leeana Karlson.

"Jon has excelled in his roles, both in our programming department and as the Digital Program Director," said Dave Widmer, Market Manager for Connoisseur Media Long Island. "He has a great instinct when it comes to integrating the two... and this deep understanding will help lead K-98.3 to achieve even greater success."

Daniels has nearly 20 years of programming experience in a wide variety of formats and brands. He's been with WKJY since 2003.

Daniels will also maintain his role as the cluster's Group Digital Director.

You may recall Harper and Leanna were recently suspended after a hoax involving an invitation from two gay dads to their daughter’s seventh birthday party.
