Atlanta Radio: CCM+E's WGST Adds Live Mid-Day Show

Heavily laden with syndicated talk programming, CCM+E's WGST 640 AM in Atlanta is adding a live two hour show to middays.

Richard "Sully" Sullivan start a Noon to 2pm daily show starting Monday.

The show sounds like the standard fare: politics, breaking news and pop culture.  But is erncouraging to hear something local anywhere, anytime these days.

Sullivan replaces the syndicated Andrea Tantaros radio show.

He was was a long-time afternoon host on rock station WZGC Dave FM from 2006 to 2012 when the station switched format to sports talk.

Sullivan previously worked at WGST in the mid-'90s as a producer. Also while at WGST, he produced A Georgia High School Scoreboard Show which aired Friday nights during the high school football season and aired and several stations around the state on the Georgia News Network. From 1998 until 2002 he was the executive producer for the Atlanta Falcons Radio Network.

He's work on several other stations owned by Clear Channel in the Atlanta market including WKLS 96 Rock, now Top40 WWPW 96.1 FM Power 96-1.

In May 2005, he was hired by WZGC-FM and began working part time on the weekends. He was hired full-time for the overnight shift in November 2005. In September 2006, he became the afternoon drive host on WZGC-FM.
