KYW Newsradio, an Audacy station in Philadelphia, honored 11 exceptional leaders who are driving meaningful change and uplifting lives in and around Philadelphia’s communities of color. This year’s 2026 class of GameChangers was recognized at a celebration on February 25 hosted by KYW’s Community Impact Reporter, Racquel Williams.

The eleven 2026 KYW Newsradio GameChangers honorees are:
- Temple University Police Officers, Leroy Wimberly and Capt. Enoch McCoy
- CheckFirst Creator, Ranvir Gill
- Founder of the Oshun Family Center, Saleemah McNeil
- Founder of Still Rise Farms and Breast Surgeon, Dr. Monique Gary
- Executive Director of Breakthrough of Greater Philadelphia, Michelle Palmer
- Odunde Festival CEO, Oshunbumi Fernandez-West
- Shoot Basketballs NOT People (SBNP) Founder, Garry Mills
- President and CEO of The Fund for the School District of Philadelphia, Kathryn Epps
- Ordinarie Heroes Founder, Ron Toles
- Community Activist, Cecil Hankins
Starting in the fall of 2025, the Greater Philadelphia community nominated unsung heroes for the 2026 GameChangers awards. Winners were selected with input from past honorees, recognizing leaders who strengthen the region by advancing equity and creating opportunities. This year’s recipients represent a diverse range of fields, including nonprofit leadership, education, healthcare, business, and community development.
