iHM Promotes Care Jones To So. New England Market President

iHeartMedia promoted Care Jones to Market President, tasking her with overseeing company operations, strategy and revenue across Providence, RI; Manchester and Portsmouth, NH; and Cape Cod, MA, the company said Monday.

In the role Jones will lead market operations and sales strategy for the four regions, with primary responsibility for driving growth, improving revenue performance and delivering integrated audio advertising solutions for local businesses and communities across Southern New England. She will report to Division President Jeff Thomas.

Jones brings nearly 15 years at iHeartMedia, rising from an account executive to multiple sales‑leadership posts; her background includes front‑line sales experience and regional leadership roles that Thomas cited in announcing the promotion. Thomas praised Jones’s leadership and coaching skills, saying recent collaboration convinced him she was the right choice for the expanded role.

Jones said she is excited to assume the Market President duties and looks forward to partnering with station teams and advertisers to accelerate growth and deepen community service across the markets. The company did not announce a start date for the new role.
