| WH Doctor O'Connor Said Biden "Fit To Serve" Last Year |
Medical experts have called it "inconceivable" that former President Joe Biden’s aggressive prostate cancer was not detected earlier, The Daily Mail US is reporting.
On Sunday, the 82-year-old’s office announced his diagnosis of a highly aggressive form of the disease, with a Gleason score of 9 and Grade Group 5, following the discovery of a "small nodule" on his prostate.
Many, including President Donald Trump, who wished Biden a "fast and successful recovery" alongside First Lady Melania, expressed concern. However, Donald Trump Jr. questioned a potential "coverup," sharing a post by Dr. Steven Quay, who noted prostate cancer’s ease of early diagnosis and progression monitoring.
What I want to know is how did Dr. Jill Biden miss stage five metastatic cancer or is this yet another coverup??? pic.twitter.com/fSqtDmcX4p

Leading doctors echoed doubts, highlighting that routine blood tests, recommended for men over 50, can detect prostate cancer early. Yale professor Dr. Howie Forman stated it was "inconceivable" Biden’s cancer wasn’t tracked before leaving office, as prostate-specific antigen tests would have indicated the cancer’s presence long before this advanced stage.
He noted that the test for prostate-specific antigen would have shown he had cancer 'for some time before this diagnosis' given how aggressive his form of cancer is.
In February 2024, when Biden was the presumptive Democratic nominee, his longtime physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor deemed him 'fit to serve' following a routine physical at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Dr. Forman, the Yale radiologist, noted that Biden 'must have had a PSA test numerous times before.' He concluded that Biden's late-stage diagnosis is 'odd.'
Similarly, on News Nation, urologist Dr. David Shusterman said it is 'unheard of' for someone with Biden's stage of cancer to not know about it beforehand.
'It's very unlikely that someone could get annual checkups and not notice,' he said, adding that Biden is a former president who 'had state-of-the-art care.
