NYC Radio: WCBS-FM To Simulcast Jersey4Jersey Concert

Bon Jovi announced Monday that it has canceled its 2020 tour dates with Bryan Adams due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Due to the ongoing global pandemic, it is no longer feasible for Bon Jovi to tour this summer,” the group said in a statement. “Given these difficult times, we have made the decision to cancel the tour entirely. This will enable ticketholders to get refunds to help pay their bills or buy groceries.”

“These are trying times. You’ve always been there for us and we’ll always be there for you,” Bon Jovi’s statement continued. “We look forward to seeing everyone again on tour when we can all safely be together.  We will continue to send out news and updates on Bon Jovi touring in the weeks and months to come.”

Meanwhile, Jon Bon Jovi and other New Jersey natives, including, Halsey, Tony Bennett and Bruce Springsteen are among the stars who'll be performing Wednesday night on a benefit TV, radio broadcast in support of COVID-19 relief for the Garden State.

Bruce announced the broadcast, called Jersey 4 Jersey, Tuesday on ABC's Good Morning America, saying, "New Jersey has been hit especially hard by the coronavirus pandemic, and the people of New Jersey have always stepped up during difficult times."

The broadcast event will also highlight the efforts of health care workers in the state and those on the front lines. Information on stopping the spread of the pandemic will be included in the special as well.

Jersey 4 Jersey airs Wednesday 7:00PM ET on ABC and Entercom's Classic Hits WCBS 101.1 FM will simulcast.
