Pandora & SiriusXM are Testing Bundle Deals

Since SiriusXM purchased Pandora for $3.5 billion, the two companies have been working to find ways to cross promote their products. Sirius created commercial free stations powered by Pandora and Pandora added SiriusXM talk shows as podcasts to the platform.

Now, TechCrunch has reported that SiriusXM and Pandora are working on offering customers an opportunity to subscribe to both services with bundle deals.

Details about potential bundles aren’t yet available, but the companies are looking at pricing possibilities. Currently, both companies are researching how to best bring these bundles to customers by offering subscribers to either service a discounted price on the other.

While customers are confused about the two companies promoting each other, not realizing that the two are now one company, Phillips said Sirius and Pandora will continue to be promoted separately and run under their respective names for now. However, combining the two isn’t out of the question for the future.
