iHeartMedia's News/Talk WFLA 970 AM has expanded its coverage area with the addition of three FM translators located around the metro.
JohnMcMartin, chief engineer of iHeartMedia’s Tampa cluster, revealed the details of the new FM trimulcast to listeners on the air Monday morning:
- In Pinellas County, WFLA is now on the Gulfport-licensed translator W233AV at 94.5
- In Hillsborough County, WFLA is heard on West Tampa-licensed W290BJ at 105.9
- In Pasco and Hernando counties, on Bayonet Point-licensed translator W256CT at 99.1
WFLA can also be heard on sister WXTB 97.9 HD-2:
